Guidelines for final's day

We are looking forward to Final’s Day on Saturday 26th September. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us!

Here are the guidelines that the tennis club will be using for Final’s Day. The information is to ensure that the club complies with instructions produced by the LTA and central government.

Please do not attend the tennis club at any time if you have any symptoms of Covid 19.

All attending must be prepared to provide Test and Trace contact details. The club will hold the information for 21 days and will provide the NHS with details if requested.

There will be no general play on any of the clubhouse courts during any tournament match.

Everyone attending must maintain government social distancing guidelines at all times.

No spectators will be allowed inside the fencing of the tennis club courts. Spectators are encouraged to watch from the grass on the rugby pitch side of the third clubhouse court or from the grassed area in front of the clubhouse. Stuart Cass will confirm the appropriate arrangements with the parents of very young players

Please bring your own hand sanitiser

Access to the decking area will be strictly limited.

The clubhouse will remain closed apart from emergency access to toilets. Bring your own water and refreshments as the kitchen area will not be available

Presentations will take place after each match. Players will have their photo taken next to the trophy but the club will then retain the trophies as they need to be engraved.

There will be no handshaking at the conclusion of a match or at the trophy presentation. Players should touch rackets at the end of a match.

Players and spectators are asked to minimise their time at the club following the trophy presentation. It will help to limit people at the club throughout the day.

Guidance may change at very short notice.
