The available Adult membership package for the current time of the year are listed at the bottom of the page. Winter packages will become available from August. We need parental permission for Junior membership so you need to complete the form (see below)
New members will need to complete a Membership form and post/email it to the Membership Secretary, details are on the form. We must have a signed form (signed by an Adult) for ‘Junior’ members (hence why there is not a Junior membership package button below). You can obtain a membership form by emailing coptennis.member@gmail.com.
You can pay electronically by Bank Transfer, bank details are on the membership form. Please email the Membership Secretary to say you have paid.
To be eligible to play for Copmanthorpe in the local league matches you need to be a club member and have paid your membership fee.
On registration, you will be given the code to the gate lock (not to be shared with non-members). It will be sent to you by email. Please keep the gate closed – this will help keep the courts and club facilities secure. Shoe tags will no longer be issued.
Clubhouse keys are available to adult members only. They can be obtained from the Membership Secretary at a cost of £6.50. You will need a key to use the court floodlights. Floodlights are paid for by a token, obtained from some Committe Members; a token lasts for an hour and costs £4.
Recognised tennis clothing must be worn. It is very important that the correct footwear is worn (i.e. shoes with a non-ridged neutral coloured base) to protect the playing surface.
Junior members under 11 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult when using the courts. There is no requirement for that responsible adult to be a member of the Club. Any adult accompanying any Junior member (under 18) is welcome to use the courts (i.e. play tennis) with the Junior member they are accompanying as long as they wear the correct footwear.
Paying using the Visitor ‘subscription’ of £3 is a temporary way of using the Club’s facilities. It can only be used 3 times a year, after which you are expected to join as a member, using one of the packages below. Your visitor’s fees for that year can be deducted from the membership fee if you want. Visitors will need a member to open the gate to let them on court.
The buttons below are for existing members to renew their subsciptions.
