Each year Devon Tennis enters teams (boys and girls) into the LTA County Cup events for all the age groups: 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U 14U and 18U. The aim of the Devon County Training Programme is to get players ready for these events!
It is an honour and a privilege to play for the county. The LTA County Cups are the pinnacle of junior county tennis, and it should be something that a player is extremely proud of when they are selected to represent Devon.
We will also be looking to have ‘friendly’ matches and enter other events / tournaments (wherever possible) to help players and the coaches prepare for the LTA County Cups. The documents attached contain important information on the 2024 County Cups and the criteria for them. The selection for other matches and events will be decided upon by the Coaching team on and event by event basis.

9U County Cup:
Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th March
Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April (Finals)
8U County Cup:
Saturday 27th April OR Sunday 28th April
14U County Cup:
Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April (Play off / Area League)
Friday 10th to Sunday 12th May (Finals – Nottingham)
10U County Cup:
Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May (Play off / Area League)
Saturday 8th to Sunday 9th June (Finals)
11U County Cup:
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June (Play off / Area League)
Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July (Finals – Wrexham)
11U County Cup:
Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September (Play off / Area League)
Friday 27 to Sunday 29 September (Finals)
Men’s & Ladies County Cup:
Summer County Cup – Monday 22nd to Friday 26th July
Winter County Cup – Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th November
