Coaching Team

Devon is extremely fortunate to have an excellent and fully committed team of coaches who work tremendously well together supporting and encouraging each other. There is a good range of coaches with respect to qualifications, age, and experience, and all from a variety of backgrounds. To have such a dedicated team that compliment each other is essential to the success of the programme and is a real positive for the players. The County Coaching team has coaches from all over Devon who are passionate about developing fantastic players and of course county cup teams too!

All the coaches are DBS checked and LTA accredited, and thoroughly enjoy challenging themselves, as much as they do the players!

Will McNally -Performance Manager

I am an LTA Level 5 Master Performance Coach with a wealth of experience that spans more than 30 years of coaching. My career has brought me into contact with many wonderful people and players, with several going on to achieve National Honours and World Rankings. I was a County Performance Officer for Berkshire, doing a similar role, before joining Devon Tennis. I first worked at Victoria Park Tennis Club when I first moved to Devon before becoming Director of Tennis at Exeter Tennis Centre for 12 years. My main role now is coordinating and managing the Devon Junior Performance programme which currently has approximately 120 players over the various age groups. I thoroughly enjoy working together with players, coaches and clubs / centres to help them develop, as well as keeping an eye open for new and emerging talent.

Tracy Brown

My Name is Tracy Brown, I have been coaching at Torquay Tennis Club now for over 20yrs. I deliver the majority of the programme at the club, and this diversity gives me a depth of knowledge in many areas of coaching. I also have 2 children who competed to a good level, so I do understand both sides, coaching and parenting.

I have had the pleasure of working with many, many fabulous kids. Some of these have competed to a high level. I have also enjoyed sharing the journey of many county champions throughout my time.

I am very pleased to have been involved with Devon County Tennis from the start, and am excited to see what we can achieve in the future.
