The Hill and Valley Lawn Tennis Club Ltd is committed to following the LTA’s guidelines for protecting the Privacy, Security and Safety of our all members. It is the responsibility of ALL members to be familiar with our policies, adhere to the guidelines and inform a member of the committee if they have any concerns.

Safeguarding Hill & Valley Tennis Club acknowledges its duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and adults at risk. The club is committed to ensuring that its safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and complies with best practice and LTA requirements.
Equality and Diversity Hill & Valley Tennis Club is responsible for setting and upholding standards and values that apply throughout the club at every level, so tennis can be enjoyed by everyone who wants to participate. Data Protection Hill & Valley Tennis Club is subject to data protection regulations under UK law, which control the use of your personal data. We only hold members' personal data for the purpose of administering and running the Club and to keep members informed of Tennis Club news and activities - including coaching programmes, matches with other clubs, tournaments and social events. We do not give out members’ data to any third party that is not directly related to these club activities.
Code of Conduct Hill & Valley Tennis Club is committed to the Code of Conduct Policy as stated by the LTA that specific advice is given concerning the behaviour of all coaches, staff and club and other officials. In addition, those who employ coaches for example, should know what standard of behaviour is acceptable.
Photography and Recording Policy Hill & Valley Tennis Club adheres to the LTA guidelines for photography. If you wish to use any photographic equipment at an event to capture your child or a friend playing tennis you are required to register. The event organiser will ask anyone not registered to stop using photographic equipment and delete any images that may have been taken. If you have concerns about inappropriate photography, this should be reported immediately to the event organiser, official or welfare officer. Consent to photograph must be obtained from parents/carers for children under 18yrs.
Sun Safety Hill & Valley Tennis Club recognises the importance of protection against the potential harmful effects of the sun particularly for children.
