Safeguarding

It is the responsibility of each member to be familiar with and adhere to our policies which are on display in the clubhouse and on the website.

Code of Conduct

We are an inclusive club and will not tolerate any discrimination.

Safety

Players play at their own risk and must take responsibility for their own safety.  It is the players’ responsibility to decide if the courts are safe and fit for use. The new courts drain very well but please be aware that in the case of wet or icy conditions the courts can be slippery and in winter it can take time for frost/ice to clear due to the high hedge and the ice is not always visible.

There are brushes in the clubhouse for clearing leaves as well as a leaf blower; please ensure it is put back on charge after use. There is a First Aid Box in the clubhouse, if used please inform a committee member so it can be replaced.

In the case of an accident please complete an accident report form which is in the back of the green Safeguarding Folder in the clubhouse, and please inform a committee member.

Courts and Clubhouse

After playing please ensure the nets are raised using the bungie cords provided, the clubhouse is left tidy, rubbish cleared and any cups used washed up and put away. Please make sure the clubhouse is locked and the gate is firmly closed. If you notice anything damaged or out of place please get in touch hillandvalleyltc@gmail.com

Court Booking

Please ensure that if you don’t need your court you cancel it as soon as possible by going to your bookings on the website. Courts unclaimed 10 minutes after the booking time can be used by other players.

Guests

You are very welcome to invite friends to play up to three times a year, however out of respect for the fully paid up membership there is a small charge of £5 per adult over 18 and £2.50 for children under 18. Please notify us that you would like to play with a guest/s by sending an email to  hillandvalleyltc@gmail.com . Floodlights

The control boxes for the floodlights are located inside the clubhouse, if you do not have a key please contact Caroline Baker carolinebaker75@gmail.com or 07733 322176, a £6 deposit is required. Please use hand sanitiser before and after use and ensure the clubhouse is locked afterwards. Floodlights tokens cost £4.00 for 1 hour’s play and are available from
