SUMMER BOX LEAGUE SINGLES
We are keen to try to strike whilst we are peak SUMMER & post WIMBLEDON & initially with SINGLES on:
FRIDAY NIGHTS, SUNDAYS (Daytime)
Can you let us know if you are interested in SINGLES, or DOUBLES, the latter, we would suggest coming at the end of the holidays, post doubles league season. Also if there are any other times you would like to see this happening e.g
SATURDAYS (morning, afternoon or evening), WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
You will be able to arrange your own match times outside of the regular club session slots that are arranged, so we welcome anyone that can't make the regular slots but can take the inititive to arrange their own matches & contacts can be provided
ADULT COACHING

MEMBERSHIP
Ilfracombe Tennis Club - 2023/24 MEMBERSHIP - The new 2023/24 Tennis year starts on the 1st April 2023 & ends on the 31st March 2024 & our new membership options for this year are now available on the club website. Where possible our treasurer like for members to use the BANK TRANSFER method, although other methods are acceptable. See NEWS or MEMBERSHIP
We are attempting to add back weekend club sessions & have seen increased attendance at our daytime & evening club sessions. Most of our club sessions operate WhatsApp groups to indicate & help promote attendance. MINI & JUNIOR TENNIS HOLIDAY CAMPS are underway ...
Summer '23 Junior Holiday Tennis started MONDAY 24th JULY 2023 with two distinct Holiday formats. TUE, WED & SAT Sessions run 9am -12pm Mini's (9-10am, 9-11am & 10am-12pm all possible) & 12-3pm Juniors. MON, THU & FRI Sessions run 9am-1230pm & 1230-5pm with Country Cousins overseas students included. For those that already attend Saturdays, there is no change, i.e.9-10, 10-12 & 12-3. Lots of treats available plus PRIZES! & ICE LOLLIES! HOT DOGS!
Sessions continue every day, except SUNDAYS until Saturday 2nd SEPTEMBER.
COMPETING Mini's born 2013 or later can benefit from a FREE LTA (British Tennis) T-shirt & Hoody after completing 20 & 40 competitive matches respectively in any one ball colour (RED, ORANGE & GREEN). There will be some promotion for competing juniors born 2012 or earlier.
NB - THU/FRI 03/04AUG can accept 9-10am youngest Mini's this week as we have NO overseas students in the mornings

WHIRLWIND MINI MASTERS FINALS
CONGRAULTAIONS to 8U players Kit (7) & Ralph (7) who reached the Mini RED Finals & 9U player Robin (8) who reached the Mini ORANGE finals. The finals are FREE take place on Sunday 3rd September. Good Luck Boys!

LTA YOUTH COMPETE REWARDS
LTA Youth Compete Rewards - LTA Youth Compete Rewards have finally kickstarted & Ilfracombe 9U player Robin is the first player to achieve 20 competitive matches from 1st January 2023, when matches began to count, & thus is rewarded with a FREE Mini ORANGE T-shirt. Once Robin achieves 40 9U (Orange ball) matches he will receive a FREE Hoody from the LTA...
