Welcome to Kelso Orchard Tennis Club

Kelso Orchard Tennis Club

Covid-19 Pandemic

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there are new measures at place at the Club.  The clubhouse is closed for the time being and courts must be booked using our online booking system.  We have safety measures in place at the club, which have been communicated to all members and can be viewed on the notice board at the courts.  These should be strictly adhered to to ensure the safety of our members and coaches.

Winner of the Live Borders Club of the Year Award in 2016, Kelso Orchard Tennis Club was founded in 1969, celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2009. The club has members of all ages who enjoy social and competitive tennis throughout the year.  In 2016, the Management and Coaching Team won the Clubsport Roxburgh Team of the Year Award for a very successful season, which was the culmination of many years of hard work.

Whether you have never played tennis before, want to play socially or competitively, you are sure to find a warm welcome at the club.  We are an open and inclusive club and aim to provide a fun and enjoyable experience for all ages and abilities.

We have 3 floodlit courts and a clubhouse which were opened in April 2004 after a major refurbishment funded through by the Sport Scotland Lottery Fund and other sources.  Since then the club has gone from strength to strength.

At Kelso Orchard Tennis Club our playing season starts on 1st April each year with social and competitive tennis running all year round.  We have a large membership base and welcome new members throughout the year.

Coaching is available throughout the year and is run by our Head Coach Lesley Thomas along with her assistant coaches.  There are plenty of options available for coaching including Adult and Junior coaching sessions, Cardio Tennis, Miss-Hits and much more.
