Club Championships
DASH T26
In 2026, the club championship will be sponsored by thedashcharity.org.uk.
Format
The format is to play the best of 3 sets with tie breaks at 6-6.
There are exceptions as follows:
- Handicap events & handicap calculator
- vets by default will have a champ tie-break in place of the third set (can be varied if agreed by both parties)
- juniors
Junior Events
- Non Performance Junior Singles (NPJS) : The event is in the format of 1 set to 6, with a tie-break at 6-6. Each child will have four matches to play.
- 8U - tie-break to 10, two clear at 9-9 (run as one round robin event on Finals Day)
- 9U - best of 3 tie-breaks, two clear at 6-6
- 10U - one FAST4 set, tie-break at 3-3
- 12U - 2 tie-break sets & a match tie-break at 1 set all
- 14U+ - same as for adult events - best of 3 sets with tie breaks at 6-6
Round Robins - all the Round Robin events this year will be played on Finals Day with no earlier rounds EXCEPT for NPJS (Non Performance Junior Singles)
Plates
- We will run plates for Open events. Depending on entry numbers, this may include: MDO, WSO, WDO, XDO.
- All those who lose their first round get to be entered in a separate event called, for example, the WDO Plate
Conventions
- Importance of 'play-by-dates' - these are at the top of the draw showing the date by which you are obliged to arrange for your match to be played by contacing your opponent
- After your matches are played please update the noticeboard (optional step - email paul.serjeant@gmail.com with the result so he can update the LTA website)
