Bob Reynolds

MLTC is sad to note the passing of Bob Reynolds, who died on 5 April 2026.

Bob was a real tennis enthusiast, both as a player and as a spectator. He particularly enjoyed days out at the Wimbledon Championships and followed the game with great interest and affection.

He played for Wokingham before joining Maidenhead Lawn Tennis Club, where he went on to play team tennis for many years. Bob also contributed to the club in other ways, including offering helpful planning advice to MLTC.

Bob was a larger-than-life character and will be fondly remembered by those who knew him. He also encouraged his son, Luke, who went on to become a first-class tennis player at both MLTC and Queen’s Club.

Our thoughts are with Bob’s family and friends at this sad time.
