I play 30 School Sessions with Liss Infants Resume

The Club will be hosting Kingfishers class from Liss Infants School every Monday until October at 1:30pm for the return of the  award winning I Play 30 tennis sessions.

The class will be joined in the sessions by Club Coach, Natasha Harris and club volunteers.

I Play 30 is a disability programme developed by the tennis charity Bright Ideas For Tennis (BIFT).  It is currently running at a number of clubs around the UK and has been specifically designed for participants with learning, sensory and physical disabilities and for those experiencing mental ill health. The sessions in Liss started in 2021 and was the first expansion of the programme into Hampshire and the South West

I Play 30 is delivered by a qualified coach, supported by school teachers and club volunteers.  It's the club volunteers the help make the sessions an award winning community project.  If you have some spare time and would like to volunteer we would love your help. There's some information about what it means to volunteer here but if you have any questions please get in touch via liss.tennis@gmail.com.

I play 30 is one of a number of outreach programs organised by the Club and designed to help more people of all ages and abilities play tennis in Liss. 2023 is no different and the club has already seen a washed out family coaching day in April followed by an even wetter (but really popular) open court events as part of the Kings Coronation and the return of the regular Tuesday and Thursday Crossover tennis sessions. The events will continue into May and beyond with sessions for Liss Beavers, Guides (and hopefully Brownies).

The Club outreach programming has been running since the the First Liss Tennis Festival in September 2017 raised some funds for the club to be able to provide a community outreach program.
