Round 1: Sunday 23rd  November 2pm (followed by Club AGM at 4pm)

Round 2: Friday 5th December 6pm (with mulled wine and mince pies)

Round 3: Sunday 4th January 10am ( New Years Mixer)

Round 4: Sunday 1st February 10am

Round 5: Sunday 8th March 10am

About the Milkwood Cup

The club organises a number of summer and winter tournaments for adults of all standards and older and stronger juniors. These  include the Mike Hillman and Milkwood Cups.

These round-robin style tournaments are designed to give everyone a chance of winning.  The tournaments take place over 3-5  sessions, the Milkwood Cup in the winter and the Mike Hillman Cup in the spring/summer.  The format is for doubles pairs and scores are kept from each session with the top three scores for each participant deciding the overall winner at the end of the season. There is also a prize for the best score of the day. 

The format is great fun and rules are fully explained on each day of the competitions.  The overall winner is the player with the most points from 4 of the 5 dates. These are highly sociable  occasions (with tea and cake!) offering a great opportunity to meet other club members. 

There is no need to book for the Milkwood and Mike Hillman Cups (though it does reassure the organiser and help them plan) just turn up on the day .
