Phase one of the clubroom refurbishment has just been completed with the help of an EHDC Councillors grant award from Ian James. The award for £500 helped complete the installation of a new kitchen so that the room can be used prior to phase 2 enhancements in August 2024.

The club is planning to organise a village festival on 22nd June 2024 with funds raised by the club going towards phase 2 improvements.

Phase two is planned to complete the work to  create a space that is open and welcoming with improved facilities including:

• enhanced open kitchen with increased surface area for food prepartion and display
• increased storage space with easier access
• permanent seating to support social activity before, during and after events
• retention of a flexible space to setup a table for up to eight people.
