Become A Tennis Official
Explore opportunities to become a tennis or padel official:
Types of Officials:
- Court Supervisors: Monitor multiple courts at tournaments. Must be over 16 and complete a 3-hour course.
- Referees: Oversee tournament organisation and rules. Requires a 2-day course.
- Line Umpires: Officiate matches at all levels. Must be 16+ and complete a 1-day course.
- Chair Umpires: Lead on-court match officiating. Many travel the world with the tennis tour.
Amazon Prime Video LTA Youth Girls
An initiative to inspire girls to try tennis in a fun, pressure-free environment.
- Funded by Prime Video’s US Open broadcast fees (Emma Raducanu's 2021 win)
- Includes coach training focused on meeting girls' psychological and social needs

Personal Development Pathway (PDP)
Originally part of the LTA’s She Rallies programme, this initiative for girls aged 14+ helps build leadership and coaching skills.
- Delivered in collaboration with Norfolk Tennis and WimX
- Includes Tennis Leaders training and support from club coaches
- Leads to LTA Level 1 Assistant and beyond
