Friendly match v Launceston
Friendly Matches. Whilst friendly matches are competitive, they are designed to be played in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. They enable people to play with club members they don’t normally play with and to try out competitive tennis with people from different clubs. Our match against Launceston on Sunday 13th was no exception.

Sunday morning LOVE Tennis with OCRA & Tony Hawks
The club ran LTA Free Park tennis sessions on Sunday mornings through the summer. Rackets and balls were provided, and an hour of tennis activities and games, open to anyone, all ages, and especially beginners.

Rose Bowl tournament winners
The club’s annual Rose Bowl doubles tournament took place September 28th. The weather was beautiful, we all had some fun tennis and a superb final between Gary and Hayley against Graham and Selena.

Mixed doubles tournament
The Rose Bowl, mixed doubles tournament will take place on Sunday Sept 28th, 1pm start. Players will be allocated partners at random, and then swap partners every 4 games. Points will be recorded for each player as an individual, one per game won. Sudden death deuce. All welcome. Entry cost of £5, includes buffet refreshments.
