Okehampton & District Tennis Club

We share four well maintained all weather, hard courts with Okehampton College and OCRA. They are set in a prime position in Simmons Park, with good floodlights and direct access to the OCRA Pavilion. The club has a range of social and competitive tennis for players of all ages and abilities, year round, with junior, family and individual membership options.

Club Sessions  are Tuesday evenings 6-9pm, and Saturday afternoons 2-5pm. We play doubles, mixing pairs and courts every 30 mins. Open and free to all members over 14 years old. Visitors and guests are more than welcome - first session free, then up to 3 sessions on a pay-as-you-go basis, £5 a time.

Rusty Rackets - is for those who haven't played in a while, or like a slower game. All welcome, rackets and balls provided and costs only £5 (free to members). Mondays 10-11.20am.

League Tennis - There are lots of opportunities to play competitive tennis. We have a mens, two ladies and a mixed team in Devon leagues, summer and winter and always looking for new squad members.

Events - we run club tournamanents, open days and Free park tennis for the public, friendlies against local clubs, indoor winter events, Wimbledon Wednesdays, socials and other activities: check the news page and FB.

Coaching - We organise junior coaching, members sessions and coaching courses for non-members.
