Okehampton Ladies had an enjoyable match against Willand A on Monday evening in their third fixture of the summer league. The weather was perfect for tennis, with a lovely sunny evening that wasn’t too hot. Our first pair, Hayley and Tamsin, played some powerful, fast-paced tennis against Willand’s first pair, Jadeen and Rachel.

The men kickstarted their season with an 8-0 whitewash, an impressive and formidable start to their campaign, followed by a 6:2 win in their second match. The Ladies were held to a much tighter affair, which saw a very even battle end in 4-4, a very respectable performance from all participants and a great match for the spectators on each night.
