Summer matches underway

Both Ladies and Mens teams have now played their opening fixtures for the summer. The men kickstarted their season with an 8-0 whitewash, an impressive and formidable start to their campaign, followed by a 6:2 win in their second match. The Ladies were held to a much tighter affair, which saw a very even battle end in 4-4, a very respectable performance from all participants and a great match for the spectators on each night. The mixed B team also won their first match 7-2 against Tipton St John so spirits are high at the moment!

New members are welcome to try for the teams, so if you fancy playing, go along to club and make yourself known to captains. There are no cliques and participation is front and centre.

If signing on for a full club membership seems daunting, there are several ways to get started and decide whether tennis is your game. Club social sessions – are just £5 for visitors and potential members wanting to ‘try before you buy’. Tuesday (6-9pm) and Saturday (2-5pm).
