In March 2025, outside courts 4, 5 and 6 have been replaced due to the condition of the courts after 14 years of use. We have replaced the astroturf courts with a new artificial clay surface. This was a very popular and exciting option to have and members are looking forward to playing on them for the 2025 season onwards.

Artificial clay is a combination of synthetic carpet as the foundation, with layers of red high quality sand to replicate what an official clay court would play like. The additional benefits are you dont get the issues you have with natural clay, such as the dry and messy surface that turns your clothes red.

This surface is soft base, plays slower than astroturf and the ball has a higher bounce. There is excitment from members to play on them and very few clubs offer such surface.
