About Us
Windsor Lawn Tennis Club, Penarth (often referred to as 'Penarth Windsor') was founded in 1914 and is situated on Larkwood Avenue, next door to Evenlode Primary School - CF64 3JJ.
The club boasts excellent facilities - 8 courts (3 hard, 5 artificial clay) , all of which have state of the art flood lighting and a modern clubhouse with a fully licenced 'Deuce Bar', TV and Wi-Fi. We also house a public Padel court in the area between the two main banks of courts.
Over 30 teams represent the club in various age-groups. Our Mens and Ladies first teams compete in South Wales Premier divisions and we have junior representation in the top South Wales divisions too. We are LTA accredited which fulfils requirements around safety & welfare, and are an LTA Youth Recognised Venue, a kitemark for excellents within junior coaching.
There's plenty to do off the courts, with an active social scene including parties and bi-monthly clubhouse functions. Aswell as weekly Mens / Ladies Nights, we have several 'mix-in' Social Tennis sessions.
We have an award-winning professional coaching team looking after our 600+ members with active programmes from mini tennis through to adult sessions. We are particularly proud of our reputation in helping to develop tournament players, many of whom have progressed to complete at an international level.
