About Us
Windsor Lawn Tennis Club, Penarth (often referred to as 'Penarth Windsor') was founded in 1914 and is situated on Larkwood Avenue, next door to Evenlode Primary School - CF64 3JJ.
The club boasts excellent facilities - 8 courts (4 hard, 4 artificial clay) , 6 of which have state of the art flood lighting and a modern clubhouse with a fully licenced 'Deuce Bar', TV and Wi-Fi.
Over 30 teams represent the club in various age-groups. Our Mens and Ladies first teams compete in South Wales Premier divisions and we have junior representation in the top South Wales divisions too. We have Tennis Clubmark status and this ensures that we have the tools and resources needed to ensure WLTC is delivering a quality tennis experience.
There's plenty to do off the courts, with an active social scene including summer parties, winter balls and bi-monthly clubhouse functions. We also run regular Friday night and Saturday afternoon social tennis - great for families.
We have an award-winning professional coaching team looking after our 400+ members with active programmes from mini tennis through to adult sessions. We are particularly proud of our reputation in helping to develop tournament players.
