Nominations are now open for the British Tennis Awards 2018.

The British Tennis Awards celebrate the achievements made by outstanding individuals and venues in British Tennis throughout the past year. They present us all with a great opportunity to say thank you to everyone in the schools, clubs, parks and community venues within England, Scotland and Wales who give so much to our sport.

Who knows, perhaps we could win a category this year? Of course, for this to happen we need to receive as many nominations as possible.

There are a wide variety of categories, including Community Venue of the Year, but probably our best chance of winning would come in either of the following categories:

• Club of the Year
• Volunteer of the Year
• Coach Award

If you think we're doing something well or can think of someone you know at the club, someone who has encouraged, motivated, inspired or supported you in the past year, nominate them now. It's really easy and it will mean more to them than you might think.

This year the LTA are offering an incentive to everyone who nominates someone in the form of a 25% discount off their British Tennis Membership.

The closing dates for nominations is 30 November 2017.
