Coach Profiles

Jill Le Pla - LTA Level 3 accredited plus Coach

Jill is the Head Coach at Rowntree Park Tennis Club. Following a successful
career as a primary teacher and SENCO, Jill retrained in the sport she has
always played and loved, quickly working through her coaching qualifications
to now being an LTA accredited plus Level 3 coach.
As a player, Jill represented Middlesex as a junior and is currently a member
of the Yorkshire Over 40’s Seniors Team. She also plays in Division 1 of the
ladies York and Yorkshire leagues and represents the club in the mixed first
team.
Jill is passionate about encouraging as many children and adults to take up
the sport she has always played and loved. She has successfully created
links with a number of local schools which has contributed to a now thriving
junior programme at the club. She equally enjoys teaching adults of all levels
from beginners to club players looking to enhance their tactical game or those
trying to increase their fitness.
Jill runs a number of adult and junior group sessions throughout the week as
well as offers 1-2-1 or small bespoke sessions as requested.
