ALICANTE - OCTOBER 2024 - £420

We are going for another Tennis Holiday in Spain, this time to Alicante, from the 28th of October to the 1st of November 2024.

This location holds a special place in our hearts, as We’ve spent many summers in Playa San Juan (Alicante) with our family, creating wonderful memories. The tennis club is truly remarkable, having hosted a Davis Cup and training sessions for 32 international athletes, including two Olympians.

Training and Schedule

Our program includes 13 hours of high-quality training and coached practice on clay courts, led by coaches Jorge Santos and Mario Robledo.

• 28th October: 6 pm to 8 pm
• 29th October: 12 pm to 3 pm
• 30th October: 12 pm to 3 pm
• 31st October: 12 pm to 3 pm
• 1st November: 8 am to 10 am

For those looking to practice even more, additional courts will be available for rent.

Meeting Point

We’ll meet at the intersection of Avinguda de les Nacions and Av Benidorm. I’ll provide a detailed map closer to the date.

Accommodation and Logistics

This year, the camp fee only covers training. However, we’re here to assist you in finding the perfect accommodation and arranging transport to the tennis club and meeting point. This flexible approach allows a broader range of participants to join us and manage expenses according to their preferences. Nearby accommodations range from £30 to £100 per night.

Communication and Activities

To streamline communication, we’ll set up a WhatsApp group for all participants. This will allow us to answer any questions, coordinate activities, share taxis from the airport, and of course, organize a group meal at Casa Julio, a beachfront Paella restaurant.

• Hotel Port Alicante: Our top choice, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and meeting point, featuring two swimming pools (one on the rooftop). Rooms can be reserved directly on their website or through Expedia, Hotels.com, or Booking.com.

• Hostal Mont Royal: A charming and budget-friendly option, located 10 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the meeting point. This hostel also has a swimming pool. Reservations can be made through Booking.com.

• Airbnb: For a more authentic experience, consider staying in an Airbnb. We can assist you in finding and booking a place that suits your needs. Here are a few options less than 5 minutes walk from the meeting point:

  If you prefer to share a room with another player to reduce costs, let us know your preferred age range and gender, and we’ll try to match you with another interested participant. Companions are welcome to join in on off-court activities.
