School Court Use

Wadebridge School Court Use while Club Courts being repainted.

 

Week commencing 19th July

  • Works starting on the repainting of tennis courts, this is weather dependant and estimated to last 7 to 10 days, during this time our courts will be closed, but Wadebridge School is kindly allowing our Members to use their 4 courts.
  • The School is still in term from Monday19th to Thursday 22nd July so the Club will only be able to access their courts from 5 pm onwards till 9pm
  • After the end of term starting Friday 23rd the Club will be able to access all day, subject to daylight, 8am to 9pm
  • Club sessions will continue as now but with 4 available courts at the school. For session details view our website https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/WadebridgeTennisClub/Membership/ClubSessions
  • The Club will still use the Booking Sheet for the 4 Courts available at the school, (you will need to be logged in to view/book during this period), there should be no turn-up and play, this is so it can be established that users are members of the Club and therefore covered by insurance.
  • There may be a period when court booking is unavailable during the change over in use, please bear with us during this period.
  • Make sure you have your booking confirmation whilst attending the school courts, to show if asked by school staff, there will be no Pay & Play at the school.
  • There will be signs up to state Wadebridge Tennis Club has booked the courts from the School, if non-members are using courts, politely ask them to vacate the courts as they should not be using them.
  • Please remember Organised Club Sessions will have priority.
  • Please respect the School premises and take home any rubbish etc.
  • The basketball area by courts is locked due to leisure centre roof works, so you will not be able to retrieve balls if hit in this area.

 

  • All members are expected to adhere to the Clubs Code of Conduct and Safeguarding procedures, plus any government guidelines/ recommendations in place.

 

  • The School Courts are accessed from the main entrance, follow the road to the left, where there is parking and courts are just behind this area.
