At the glittering  Tennis Wales Awards Ceremony held at Cardiff Arms Park last Thursday 23rd February, Bangor Tennis Club were delighted to be presented with the coveted  'Club of the Year' award by Neil O'Doherty, Chair of Tennis Wales.   The trophy was received by committee members, Sue & Nigel Beesley.      The Award recognised key achievements over the last few years including  introduction of an electronic gate at the Club, doubling of membership & introduction of a 'Pay & Play' facility.  More latterly the Club built a fantastic new clubhouse, specifically designed to meet the needs of the Club for the next century, and working with a local group (Pobl i Bobl) to offer free tennis coaching for refugees.

Our Club are now looking forward to building on the Award and taking the Club towards its centenary next year!
