Sunday 2nd July saw the first ever parent and child doubles tournament at Poppleton.  13 pairs played fantastic tennis in the glorious sunshine whilst enjoying homemade cakes between matches.  We had players as young as 5 carrying their parents to well deserved victories. Congratulations to Robert & Cliff Coggrave, Aron & Dean Carter and Scott & Chris Codrai who shared first place.  All proceeds went to Popplay who are raising funds for a new playground at the Poppleton Centre. A massive thank you goes out to Belinda and Mel for organising the event and every one who took part both on the court and behind the scenes.
