Junior Tennis at Codicote Tennis Club

Codicote Tennis Club has been working hard over the past few years to increase our provision for junior members and we are delighted that we now have more junior members than ever before.

Junior Club Night is available for our junior members to play on Monday evenings  between 4.45pm and 7pm. 

These sessions are organised by Edel & James Ryding  who can be contacted on 07939 507721, or via email at edelryding@hotmail.co.uk.   Balls and light tokens are supplied.

Each session gives our younger players the chance to take part in match play (singles and doubles) and we often end the session with some fun tennis-related games. The session is free to club members but non-members are welcome to attend up to three sessions before they will be invited to join the club.

Junior Tennis Coaching

We are very pleased to be able to offer our juniors the very highest standard of coaching with our head coach, Richard Barfort via Over&In with something to suit all youngsters. Club Tournaments

Each summer we run singles tournaments for different age groups which culminate in match finals being played at our Club Finals Day in September, alongside all our adult match finals.

Alongside our competitive summer tournament we also hold other events such as our annual Halloween Tournament (complete with fancy dress and BBQ supper), and our new Easter Tournament which takes place in the Easter school holidays.

Junior Fun Days

We also hold Junior Fun Days in school holidays where youngsters spend the whole day on court taking part in tennis drills, tennis-related games, serving against a speed gun and culminating in a mini doubles tournament.
