External Leagues

Datchworth Summer League 

is a competitive but friendly league played on a Monday evening for 14 weeks starting at the end of April. In 2016 there were 128 teams from 36 clubs in Hertfordshire. We have ten teams entered this year. A team consists of 2 men and 1 lady. Each match you play three sets (2 mixed and 1 men's) with each set being 13 games - playing a tiebreak if the score is 6-6. Datchworth Summer League

Hot Rackets

Datchworth Autumn League 

is played on Saturdays. Team is 2 ladies and 2 men, playing 4 mixed, 1 ladies' and 1 men's making a total of 6 sets of 13 games (tie break at 6 all) Datchworth Autumn League

East Herts Winter League 

is a 4 player mixed doubles tennis league. Matches are best of 3 sets with a championship tiebreak if a match reaches one set all. Matches are played at weekends from November through to March (dates by agreement).

Men's Herts County League 

is a doubles league played over Hertfordshire consisting of 3 pairs, played at weekends from April to September.  We have one men's squad. Each Pair plays three matches, consisting the best of 3 sets. County Leagues for men

Orchard League 

is a ladies only doubles league played from April to September, consisting of two pairs playing two matches at home and two away. No tiebreak, first to 6 games. 

AEGON Juniors 

is a singles and doubles team based competition open for all LTA registered venues providing players from U8-adult to play competitive tennis. This year we have entered 5 junior teams  Aegon, u8, u9, u10

HERTS Men's Winter Senior League (over 45)

An outside winter competition between September and April. Each team will consist of four players (two pairs) placed in order of merit. Each pair will each play each other. Rubbers to be best of three sets with a Championship Tie Break set to ten points in the 3rd set. Matches can be played evening and / or weekends.


 

 British Tennis - Herts Men's Winter Seniors Tennis League 2018-19 - Organization

Herts Ladies Winter League (over 50)

A winter competition between September and April. Each team will consist of four players (two pairs) placed in order of merit.  Each pair will play the opposing two pairs. Rubbers will be 2 sets - 7 point tie-break at 6-6 games, in both sets. Matches can be played any agreed day of the week but are played mainly at weekends.
