The club has entered the County winter league. Its an inter club tournament run over the entire winter with progression through groups. It can be a bit snakes and ladders hence quite exciting. The format is 4 players (any age), two men and two ladies.
The men play a doubles (2 sets) against the opposing team and the ladies play a doubles 2 sets against the opposing team of ladies. Then there is 2 sets of mixed doubles. Therefore each player plays 4 sets (2 x doubles, 2 x mixed doubles). The format means that most matches are really quite close and often results in a count back of games won.
Matches in the first round as follows:
Sunday 23/10/22: 10.30am two adjacent courts required (10-12)
Sunday 4/12/22: 10.30am two adjacent courts required (10-12)
Sunday 22/1/23: 10.30am two adjacent courts required (10-12).
