Adult coaching

Learn, develop, play!

The main aim of our coaching programme is to help players of all ages experience the full fun and excitement of tennis through:

  • learning the basics
  • developing their skills
  • playing the sport

We believe that learning tennis skills without playing the sport is like learning a new language but never using it!

Our programme is run by Head Coach Greig Munro, supported by a team of qualified coaches, assistants and tennis leaders.

Coaching sessions and other events are available for three groups of adult players:

  • Beginner - adults keen to learn the basics with other beginners in a friendly, fun environment; our next Adult Beginner course of 2026 will start on Monday 23rd February
  • Progression – players who have learned the basics and are now aiming to take their game to the next level by learning more advanced techniques and tactics
  • Team Player - players preparing for team tennis and aiming to improve their match performance through team training sessions

Cardio Tennis

Cardio Tennis classes.  Cardio Tennis is a high-energy fitness activity that combines the best features of tennis with tough cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie-burning, aerobic workout.  Cardio Tennis is set on a tennis court and supported by motivating music. It’s suitable for people of all ages and abilities.
