Edgbaston Archery & Lawn Tennis Society is seeking partners to support the club in its next stage of development. Birmingham has a fantastic history when it comes to lawn tennis, with the first game having been played at 8 Ampton Road, Edgbaston in 1859. Our six grass courts occupy the same piece of land as where the originals were laid down in the early 1870s and as such, this patch of land holds the distinction of being the oldest lawn tennis playing surface still in regular use anywhere in the world!
We therefore offer a prestigious heritage for our sponsors, and the opportunity for exposure to a broad audience.
We’re committed to encouraging tennis players of all abilities and pride ourselves on being able to support a range of levels from beginners to players in the top division of local and national leagues.
