Our Crowdfunder Men's Meet & Move reached its fundraising target of £4k in early February, which unlocked a further £4k of match funding from Sport England.
Meetings have started and active fun has been had, providing an opportunity for local isolated/inactive men to enjoy time together. Improvements have also been made to the appearance and physical environment of the clubhouse, as well as the purchase of new games equipment.
Thank you to our sponsors

Finally, thank you to all our members who bought raffle tickets! You have all made a difference and improved lives for local people.
The funds raised will be used for the following activities:
- create a much pleasanter and welcoming environment - replacing the toilet flooring and basins
- provide insulation for our large windows to keep the rooms warm and reduce our carbon footprint
- purchase newer and varied games equipment - foldable pool table, skittles, pickleball set, petanque, etc
- purchase refreshments to always provide these free for our guests
- allow for the group to go to different local experiences for enrichment
- provide some training for the club member hosts, so we can be more empathetic for the issues our guests could bring and allow us to try to signpost support if necessary. Also to bring in expert knowledge if situations arise beyond our capabilities
