Safeguarding

Edgbaston Archery & Lawn Tennis Society is committed to prioritising the wellbeing of children and adults at risk, promoting safeguarding in our club at all times to ensure a positive and enjoyable playing experience. As a club, we have agreed a safeguarding policy statement and a set of policies to help everyone to have a positive tennis experience and to make sure that the well-being of everyone, and particularly children and adults at risk, is prioritised. Our full Safeguarding Policy (updated April 2024) can be accessed here

Hi, my name is Katharina and I'm the safeguarding lead for the club. My role is to make sure everyone is safe and happy playing tennis. In my day job I work in the NHS, but I've been a coach in the past and I've been playing for as long as I can remember.
