Head Coach: Grant Watson

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Grant as our new Head Coach. Grant is currently the Head Coach at Alnwick and Rothbury Tennis Clubs. Grant has over 20 years coaching experience, working with wide range of players across a range of different venue types. He was awarded Northumberland LTA Coach of the Year in 2021 in recognition of the development work he has done and continues to deliver in Northumberland. 

Grant works closely with the Club Management Committee and the Coaching Team. He endeavours to build The Club with a focus on increasing membership numbers and playing opportunities for all.

Coach: Jack McGuigcan

Jack has many years of coaching experience within the American Summer Camp system. He delivers all of our Saturday tennis coaching sessions and is our Pickleball lead. Jack is currently a LTA level two coach looking to complete his level 3 coaching qualification in 2025.

Coach: Emily Jackson

Emily has played at The Club for many years and firstly as a junior volunteer helping out with Saturday sessions and competitions. Emily is now a recently qualified and Accredited LTA  level two coach. She still assists with Saturday morning coaching as well as now heading up our Miss-hit (girls coaching) sessions.
