Head Coach: Grant Watson

Grant joined us in 2024 as our Head Coach, the former Head Coach of Alnwick for over 18 years and the current Head Coach of Rothbury Tennis Club too. Grant has over 22 years coaching experience, working with a wide range of players across a range of different venue types. He was awarded Northumberland LTA Coach of the Year in 2021 in recognition of the development work he has done and continues to deliver in Northumberland. 

Grant works closely with the Club Management Committee and the Coaching Team. He endeavours to build The Club with a strong focus on increasing membership numbers and playing opportunities for all.

Coach: Jack McGuigcan

Jack has many years of coaching experience within the American Summer Camp system. He delivers all of our Saturday tennis coaching sessions and is our Pickleball lead. Jack is currently a LTA level two coach looking to complete his level 3 coaching qualification in 2025.

Coach: Emily Jackson

Emily has played at The Club for many years and firstly as a junior volunteer helping out with Saturday sessions and competitions. Emily is now a recently qualified and Accredited LTA  level two coach. She still assists with Saturday morning coaching as well as now heading up our Miss-hit (girls coaching) sessions.
