Head Coach: Grant Watson

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Grant Watson as our new Head Coach. Grant is currently the Head Coach at Alnwick and Rothbury Tennis Clubs. Grant has over 20 years coaching experience, working with wide range of players across a range of venues. He was awarded Northumberland LTA Coach of the Year in 2021 in recognition of the development work he has and continues to carry out in the North Northumberland area.

Many years ago he joined Forest Hall as a junior member where our previous Head Coach, Dave Davis, coached Grant for many years before starting his own coaching career with the Club.

Grant will work closely with the Club Management Committee and the Coaching Team to build the club with a focus on increasing membership numbers and playing opportunities for all.

Club Coach: Robbie Brasington

A Level 3 qualified coach, Robbie has been a dedicated and hard working member of the club for many years and a member of the coaching team for 10 years. Whether it be in group sessions or on a one-to-one basis, Robbie enthusiastically coaches players of all ages and abilities with focus on technique, movement, exercise and match play strategies.

Robbie is a Captain of the Durham University Tennis Team and plays for the club Division 1 Mens team.
