Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun, fast-paced sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is easy to learn and enjoyable for all ages and abilities, it’s a great way to stay active, socialise, and try something new.

Our club features two outdoor courts and a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where everyone can get involved, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced player. During colder months and poor weather we play indoors at The Lakeside Centre in Killingworth or Blue Fames in Benton.

We run regular club play nights, as well as coached sessions to help you develop your skills and confidence on court.

New to the sport? No problem, equipment is provided for beginners, so you can come along and get started straight away. We recommend that you book onto a beginners coaching session before coming along to club play so you have an idea of technique and rules.

For those looking to take things a step further, we’re proud to be competing in Pickleball England’s Vikings Pickleball League, offering opportunities for more competitive play and team involvement. Check out how we are doing here.

Come and join us to experience the fun of pickleball and be part of a growing, friendly community!
