Welcome to Grove Tennis Club

Grove is a thriving tennis club in Sheffield, with four all-weather courts, three of them floodlit till 10pm. We have a brick built Clubhouse that includes a licensed bar. Located on Millhouses Lane in the South West of the city, we have been here since 1900 with members young and old from all over the county.

We're a neighbourhood friendly tennis club, ideal for families, juniors and adults who are looking for social or competitive tennis opportunities, we welcome all comers!

Organised sessions with the following schedule are currently in place:

Ladies Match Practice - Mondays, 6pm onwards.

Organised Social Tennis – Tuesdays and Fridays from 7pm onwards; and Sundays, 2pm until 5pm.

Men's Match Practice - Wednesdays, 6pm onwards.

Mixed Match Practice - Thursdays, 6pm onwards.

Looking to play more singles?

Starting from March 2023, Grove will be running its own singles Box Leagues for members to test their skills and improve with other members in a competitive environment. These events will run seasonally all year round and are free for members to join using the LTA Competitions service. You can find out more on the Box League page here.
