We operate at Thornbury Lawn Tennis Club, a fanastic club with beautiful surroundings.
To cater to players of diverse ages and skill levels, we offer a variety of classes. Our coaches are fully accredited, and we maintain high standards through in-house coach development sessions.
At JRW Tennis, our mission is to make tennis a central part of the community. We extend a warm welcome to anyone passionate about the sport. Collaborating with like-minded clubs, schools, and tennis communities, we are fortunate to have exceptional partners dedicated to introducing players to the game and facilitating access to quality coaching.

FAQs
What does my child need to bring?
A water bottle and suitable sports clothing. Tennis rackets can be borrowed if needed.
Where are you located?
At the back of Mundy Playing Fields. Find us on Google Maps by searching Thornbury Tennis Club and follow the country lane to the Mundy Playing Field car park.
What happens in wet weather?
We use our clubhouse with great indoor space for fun activities including indoor tennis games, table tennis, arts and crafts, and Nintendo Switch Sports.
What is the coach-to-child ratio?
Typically around 5:1. For older children this may increase to 7:1.
Are coaches qualified and DBS checked?
Yes. All coaches are first aid trained, all coaches over 16 hold an enhanced DBS check, and we run regular safeguarding training for our coaching team.
