Artificial Clay Courts coming March/April 2026!
We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Trevor May to resurface court 2 and then lay artificial clay to both courts 2 & 3. It is a major transformation for our club, and widely recognised that clay is the BEST surface in the UK. Consistent bounce and nice and soft for joints and knees.

Xmas Club Dinner
We had a great Xmas dinner at the Gate, Byrants Bottom on Saturday evening. The food was good and members enjoyed matching baby faces to names in our fun competition as well as Dan's humorous awards. Big thank you to Jackie who organised the whole event and made the evening such a success 👏👏🍾

Men's Trip to La Manga, Spain
An absolutely brilliant time was had in La Manga, Murcia last week. 9 chaps spent 4 days playing on the amazing Spanish clay courts as well as padel and a bit of pickle too. There may have been an occasional beer along the way too, but the early morning boot camps put pay to any late nights 😀🍻. Lots of great restaurants were visited, including some new ones including the fab tapas bar in Los Molinos and the new Curry Gardens. Roll on next year 🎾

Padel n Pints Every Friday
Over the next few months we will be running padel n pints. An hour of padel or pickleball followed by a pint (or two!) at the Sports Club. What's not to like?

Bucks Junior Tennis Tournament
We are super proud of Mason, Jacob, Isla and Phoebe who represented the club in the 8&u Mini Red Team Challenge at Bucks Indoor Tennis Centre at the weekend! 🎾🤩 A great learning experience which has motivated them to keep learning and improving! 💪 We hope to enter again next time and offer more competitive opportunities to our juniors moving into 2025! 👍

Bronze Cup Finals
We decided to enter a team for the Aylesbury bronze cup and our brilliant team did fantastically well reaching the finals in Aylesbury on Monday evening. Congratulations to Jo, Linda, Matt & Simon who played so well, but were beaten by a very good Prestwood side. We've enjoyed the whole experience and will be back next year 🎾
