Along with all the other counties, Lincolnshire competes in :-

The Adult Summer County Cup which is a grass court, doubles only event held over 5 days at different locations countrywide. There is also a 3 day Adult Winter County Cup held indoors in November which comprises a mixture of singles & doubles also held countrywide.

Summer County Cup and Winter County Cup

One of the great achievements at the Summer County Cup is to play 15 and win 15 matches. See which Lincolnshire couples have achieved this feat by clicking on this link.

The Junior County Cup. Age groups are 8 yrs&under mixed, 9 yrs&under, 10&under, 11& under, 12&under, 14& under and 18& under, all boys & girls. There is one regional event per age group held between March and September.

In 2017 our 12yrs&U boys made the National Final as did our 10yrs&U girls in 2018. Our 9&U girls made the National Final, North in 2021 finishing 3rd.

Junior County Cup Team Selection Policy

• Ages are based on the year of competition as at 31st December
• Players will be selected taking account of World Tennis Number (was LTA ratings), rankings, competition results including at our own Festival of Tennis, attendance & performance at County Training sessions, coach recommendations & observations etc. and availability
• Player lists/information to aid with selection can be obtained via Julie
• TMs & ATMs will discuss squad make-up with each other and all other coaches in Lincolnshire will be given the chance to make nominations.
• TMs are encouraged to use their experience and discretion, exercising their professional judgement.  
• All selected players MUST meet the eligibility requirements of County Cup which can be provided by Faye
• The team should be what is considered to be the best available on the day/s

The LTA Seniors County Cup  where we have Ladies teams from 35 years to 75 years and Men's teams from 35 years to 70 years.
