LTA Youth Tennis Leaders
Inspire. Lead. Grow.
The LTA Youth Tennis Leaders programme is a fun, practical leadership course for young people aged 11–18. It helps them develop essential leadership and communication skills — and take their first steps toward a career in tennis or sport more broadly.
Whether participants are new to the game or seasoned players, this programme is open to everyone.
💼 What Do Youth Tennis Leaders Do?
Leaders gain real-world experience in multiple roles at clubs, venues, and in their communities.
They support coaches, volunteers, and teachers both on and off court — helping with:
- Coaching sessions and competitions
- Holiday clubs and open days
- Off-court tasks like digital marketing, admin, and sustainability
- Club or school outreach and community events
They’re also excellent role models for younger players and a valuable “extra pair of hands” during busy sessions.
