Strengthening Norfolk Tennis – Roles Opening Soon

Over the coming weeks, Norfolk Tennis will be advertising a number of roles. This recruitment is an important step in strengthening the governance of our Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) and ensuring Norfolk Tennis is well positioned to support the future growth of tennis and padel.

Like every county, Norfolk Tennis relies on passionate volunteers who care deeply about the sports and the communities they serve. As participation grows and new opportunities emerge across tennis and padel, we want to ensure the organisation has the right structure and support in place to help clubs, players, competitions and programmes thrive.

Norfolk Tennis is a volunteer-led Charitable Incorporated Organisation, and the work we do across the county is made possible by people who give their time and expertise to support the sport. As participation and activity continue to grow, we are looking to expand the team to ensure we have the capacity and skills needed to support clubs, players and programmes effectively.

Norfolk Tennis has an opportunity to grow participation, strengthen clubs and expand opportunities to play tennis and padel across the county over the coming years.

We will shortly be inviting expressions of interest for the following roles:

County Roles

  • 10 & Under County Junior Manager
  • 11–18 Junior County Manager
  • Competition Lead
  • Admin & Communications Officer
  • Treasurer
  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Lead
  • Disability Tennis / Open Court Lead
  • Assistant Secretary

These roles will play an important part in supporting player development, strengthening competitions and ensuring tennis in Norfolk continues to become more inclusive and accessible for everyone.

Alongside these positions, we are seeking four additional trustees to join and help guide the strategic development of Norfolk Tennis.

We will be looking for individuals with experience or interest in the following areas:

  • Finance
  • Governance & Safeguarding
  • Inclusion & Disability
  • Commercial / Business Development

Full role descriptions and details on how to apply will be shared shortly.

In the meantime, if you are passionate about tennis in Norfolk and would like to play a role in shaping its future, we would encourage you to consider getting involved.

Norfolk Tennis has a proud history of volunteers who give their time, skills and energy to support the game. These new roles are an opportunity to build on that tradition and help ensure tennis and padel continue to grow across the county.
