Norfolk Tennis has started to deliver it's summer schools programme with LTA Tennis Leader workshops at LynnSport, Kings Lynn and Cromer Academy.

The idea is to engage with secondary school pupils who have an interest in Tennis, not necessary from a playing point of view and to develop personal skills so that all can then support future programmes in schools and local clubs.

Many of the participants will help deliver primary school events this Summer and some go on to take the LTA Level 1 Coaching qualification. 

More workshops are scheduled for the Summer, including at Hethersett Academy, Dereham Neatherd, Thorpe St Andrews and Thetford Academy. 

Norfolk Tennis will also be delivering a Mini Tennis Festival for primary schools. Schools are currently taking part on local School Sports Partnership events to qualify for the 128 player finals to be played at UEA Sportspark on the first day of Wimbledon.
