Shape The Future of Norfolk Junior Tennis – 10&U & 11–18 Coaching Roles

As Norfolk Tennis transitions to operating as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), we are strengthening our structures and governance to ensure the county operates transparently, fairly and in line with best practice. As part of this, we are inviting applications for two key roles that combine coaching expertise with leadership of the county junior programme.

Available Roles

10 & Under Junior County Manager
A pivotal role for Norfolk, aligned with the LTA’s national strategy, focused on building strong foundations for young players. The role includes coordinating county training and competitions, and developing positive relationships with coaches, clubs, venues, parents and volunteers. This position is central to long-term growth. [View Role Description]

11-18 Junior County Manager
Supporting players as they progress through county training and competition, this role focuses on driving performance standards and working closely with the 10 & Under Lead to ensure a seamless pathway and high-quality coaching across all junior age groups. [View Role Description]

Both roles involve leading county training sessions and County Cup teams, working with the LTA to align with national frameworks, and building strong, collaborative relationships across the county. A key priority will be supporting coaches and captains, engaging with venues, and ensuring clear communication with parents and players.

Applicants should hold a minimum LTA Level 3 Accredited Coach qualification.

These roles will run on an annual cycle from 1 July to 30 June, aligned with the junior county tennis season. As these positions have not been formally advertised since 2020, and with participation continuing to grow, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the future of junior tennis in Norfolk.

Application Deadline: 20 April 2026
Interviews/Presentations: 28-29 April 2026
