Norfolk Tennis will be holding a Club/Venue & Parent Forum on 1 December 2024 at the East Anglia Tennis & Squash Club. If you would like to attend the Forum, starting at 7 pm, please contact Liz Gill at secretary@norfolktennis.org.
In recent weeks, Norfolk Tennis has formally changed its legal status from the Norfolk Lawn Tennis Association, a volunteer-led unincorporated association, to a volunteer-led Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
James Buddell, Chair of Norfolk Tennis, will provide an overview of the steps that will strengthen the governance, accountability and sustainability of tennis and padel in the County. He will also briefly discuss LTA strategy changes and focus for 2026.
Chris Stocker will set out his objectives and focus for the remainder of the 2025/26 junior County season; inform parents of the tournament entry system and levels.
There will also be presentations from Kathy Lofthouse, the Inclusive Tennis Lead and Norfolk Tennis President, and from Mandy Driver, the Safeguarding Officer for Norfolk Tennis.
Club/venue representatives and parents are encouraged to attend the Forum, which will also including round-table discussions related to coaching, club/venue successes and future Plans, inclusion and safeguarding.
If you would like to attend the Forum, please contact Liz at secretary@norfolktennis.org.
