Parkinsons Tennis Webinar

We are excited to announce that on Thursday 21st November 2024, 10:00 - 11:30, you are invited to attend a FREE webinar delivered by Parkinson’s UK, to support your knowledge of Parkinson’s Tennis.

Parkinson's Tennis Webinar Poster

The webinar will:

  • Provide a medical understanding of Parkinson’s.
  • Provide a greater understanding of the exercise recommendations for people with Parkinson’s, and how you can support these in your delivery.
  • Share ideas on how you can enhance your session accessibility and sustainability.

This webinar is a fantastic opportunity for coaches currently delivering or planning to deliver walking tennis sessions, as well as those hoping to provide more specialised sessions to the Parkinson’s community, or adults with neurological conditions.

The advertised target audience for this webinar is coaches, as the content has been designed with a delivery focus. However, if you have other personnel at your club supporting relevant sessions (such as volunteers and tennis leaders who support walking tennis sessions), they are more than welcome to attend. If you are unsure as to the webinar suitability for someone at your organisation, please do get in touch.

If you would like to attend the webinar, please register using the QR code on the poster, or the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZIvcOGtqjwjG9a2fvdqv_YtyVaGfG09pGMw

For information, this webinar is a repeat of the one delivered in September.

If you have any questions regarding the webinar content or participant suitability, please contact Lauren Mulligan (lmsmith@parkinsons.org.uk).

If you have any problems regarding zoom registration, please contact Matt Elkington (matthew.elkington@lta.org.uk).
