As you will be aware, the tennis club has recently invested in a major rejuvenation of the courts, new floodlights and new nets. This ongoing investment in the club is vital in securing its future within the community.

The footfall of the coaching programme increases the wear and tear on the court surface, whilst not currently adding to the club’s revenue. Therefore, to assist with ongoing maintenance and improvements, the committee is introducing an annual 'Senior Coaching Only' membership of £40 per year and a 'Junior Coaching Only' membership of £20 per year, taking effect from 1st April 2025. These apply to all current non-members who participate in coaching programmes and should be paid in time for the summer coaching sessions which start on 28 April 2025. 

The Senior Coaching Only membership enables you to use the courts and facilities at Ponteland Tennis Club when attending paid coaching sessions and to make use of complimentary tea and coffee in the clubhouse.

There is also the option of becoming a Full Senior Member which is £180 per year and comes with many added benefits, such as use of courts outside of coaching sessions, balls from the clubhouse, access to club play on Saturdays and Wednesdays, a key fob for entry and the ability to join one of our fabulous teams.

The Junior Coaching Only membership enables your child to use the courts and facilities at the club when attending coaching sessions and for parents to help themselves to complimentary tea and coffee during the session. 

There is also the option of becoming a full Junior Member (£45 for under 10s and £90 for over 10s), which allows the use of courts outside of coaching, access to balls, Junior Club play on Saturdays (10am to 11am for ages 9+ at improver level) and the chance to play in local leagues.
