Pershore hosted an LTA Grade 4 Men's event on Sunday 15 December. Pershore had representation in the form of Chris Brown, Sam Rayner, Jack Hingley and Matt Sime.

All players won at least one of their matches with Sam, Jack and Matt making it to the semi finals. Matt had a day to remember. A convincing semi final victory over Jack set up a final with the number one seed from Warwickshire. A single break was the difference between the players in the first set which went in favour of the top seed. One game from defeat in the second set at 3-2 Matt held his nerve to draw level.

From this point Matt didn't look back. He rode the momentum to claim the second set on a tiebreak and then took the third set 10-5. A performance of controlled aggression from Matt, fully deserving of his victory.
