Lawn Bowls Mentoring 2025
We are looking forward to the forthcoming new season and can confirm our green will be open on Saturday 12th April for our first bowling day of the year.
We are always looking for new members and to this end we hold mentoring sessions throughout the season. We don't have any qualified coaches within the club at present so we cannot 'coach' any new or current members BUT we will never turn potential new members away. We have evolved a very successful mentoring system within the club that takes novice bowlers onto the green where they will be shown the basics of lawn bowls.
Once we are sure the novice has grasped the fundamental rules of the game they will be allowed to use the green unchaperoned and learn the hidden dark arts of bowling.
