Welwyn enter 6 men's teams and 3 ladies teams. The format of these matches is 3 pairs, with each pair playing one set against their non-opposite pairs from the opposing team and then best of three sets, (with a Championship tie-break third set), against your opposing pair. Match duration is typically 3-4 hours. There are 5 or 6 matches over 5 to 6 months.
