Bangor Tennis Club

Bangor Tennis Club (BTC) is an inexpensive, friendly tennis club in Upper Bangor, with three  beautiful, sheltered all-weather courts.  The club is located near to the University and close to the famous Menai Strait separating the mainland of North Wales and the island of Anglesey. It is open almost every day of the year.

Everyone is welcome at BTC - we offer tennis, coaching, fitness, friendship and fun to all ages and abilities. Non-members are welcome to book courts on a 'Pay & Play' basis (£8.00 per hour) and sign up for low cost group coaching and private lessons. No racket? No problem ... we have placed a few spare rackets and balls in a watertight chest at the back of the courts. Just help yourself and return them before you leave.

BTC has been part of Bangor's vibrant community for many years -in fact 2024 saw us celebrate our 100th anniversary!   This comes after a fabulous 2023, when we were thrilled to become winners of Tennis Wales 'Club of the Year' and at the same time open our new clubhouse.  This has  proved to be a lovely space to socialise and enjoy the fabulous views onto the courts.   The expansive bi-fold doors and outdoor decking have proved popular during numerous club events.
